At Ausource Solutions, safety is a shared responsibility—and a top priority. In line with Occupational Safety and Health Committee (OSHC) standards, we are implementing an important update to how our shipments are labeled and handled.

To help prevent lifting-related injuries and ensure compliance with national safety guidelines, we have requested that both of our manufacturing partners begin placing warning labels on all boxes weighing over 20 kilograms.

Clearer Warnings for Safer Handling

To make these warnings highly visible during transport and handling, the factories will be using 100mm x 100mm safety stickers, applied to both the front and back of each qualifying box. This size has been chosen to ensure readability from a distance while maintaining consistency across all shipments.

The purpose of these warning labels is to:

  • Alert warehouse and delivery staff about heavy items

  • Encourage safe lifting practices

  • Minimise the risk of workplace injuries

  • Support our retail partners in maintaining safe environments for their own teams

A Step Toward Safer Workplaces (OSHC compliance)

Lifting heavy packages without proper preparation or awareness is a common cause of workplace injury. By proactively labeling boxes over 20kg, we aim to reduce this risk and support safe manual handling practices throughout the supply chain.

This small step helps:

  • Fulfill our shared responsibilities under OSHC guidelines

  • Improve transparency around weight-sensitive items

  • Protect teams who manage, stock, and distribute our products

We Welcome Your Feedback

As we continue working to improve safety standards across our operations, your input is invaluable. If you have suggestions about the size or placement of the warning labels—or any other measures we can take to support OSHC compliance—we would be pleased to hear them.

Whether you’re in distribution, logistics, or retail, your perspective helps us ensure our processes are practical, effective, and aligned with everyday operations.

Thank you for your continued partnership as we work to maintain high standards of safety, compliance, and care across every level of our supply chain.

If you have feedback or suggestions, please contact us directly.
